Sandy Bottoms and The Jimmie Buffet
Sandy Bottoms And The Jimmie Buffet is an original two-act rock & roll revue that loosely tells the story of Sandy Bottoms, KC her mom, her brother Hemp and father, Doobie, an aging, musician-hippie. Set in a tacky beach-front ice cream parlor, Sandy's jimmie buffet (her selection of ice cream sprinkles) is threatened by a lawsuit from singer Jimmy Buffett.
Featuring four-part harmonies, songs include Square Grouper, The Hurricane Song (Blow Me) and the musical question Soft Serve or Hard Pack?
A play reading (and singing) of Sandy Bottoms And The Jimmie Buffet was staged at The Bonita Arts League on July 23 2008.
